About

I am Dr. Abhishek Mitra, a Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Cancer Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the surgical management of complex gastrointestinal cancers. I hold MBBS, MS and MCh qualifications and have completed post-doctoral fellowship training in GI and HPB Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. I have also trained at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi.

My areas of expertise include the diagnosis and surgical management of cancers affecting the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, bile ducts, colon and rectum. I focus on understanding each patient's condition and developing an individualised treatment plan based on the type, stage and extent of the disease.
