What Factors Are Driving Up The Costs Of Industrial Construction?

There are two forces that put pressure on industrial construction costs: 

  • Reduced overall spending

US manufacturing construction spending was near $220 billion (seasonally adjusted annual rate) through 2025. It was a decrease from about $236 billion in 2024, according to Census Bureau data.
